The Black Horse in Aylestone, Leicestershire is a recent installation for EngageInn having caught up with them at The Leicester Beer Festival! A successful pub nicely tucked away from the busy town the place has a great community spirit with many regulars attached to it and activities planned to keep them coming back for more. Their monthly comedy club ‘Laughter Loft’ features as part of the popular Leicester Comedy Festival.

Safely mounted on the bar itself the EngageInn device is visible as soon as you set foot through the front door of the pub, the management team are also very proactive in taking the device around the pub, chatting to customers and encouraging sign ups.

As a local pub with lots of things happening, we became interested in Engageinn to directly interact with our customers at a beer festival of all places!
Yes we have email, and our social media platform is huge, but directly targeting customers and their individual requirements was something that interested us immediately.
It has become a key marketing tool for us and has not only helped to sell out various events, it has also helped us to directly interact with individual customers who have booked tables and events through it.

The Woodman’s Stroke

Rothley, Leicestershire

The Woodmans Stroke in Rothley have been actively using EngageInn since December 2017. As a key pub in the area with great customer service the pub has a fantastic reputation and connection with its many regulars. Having installed 2 devices, 1 in each bar, sign ups came quick as customers naturally wanted to be part of ‘The Woodies’ community and to be the first to hear about news and activities.

The management team use it regularly to promote their guest ales, sports and events, also keeping customers notified of the ‘Tigers bus’ times which they run to home matches from the village pub to the city centre stadium (with a cheeky reminder to drop in for a pint first!). A good example of how EngageInn helps keep customers coming back for more with very relevant and personal text messages!

EngageInn is proving to be a great way of keeping our customers up to date on pub events and news they are interested in. It’s very easy to use and we love the simplicity of being able to send a direct message at the right time. We’re getting some great feedback from our customers so would definitely recommend it!

Groby, Leicester

As our first EngageInn customer, The Stamford Arms in Groby have completely embraced the system. A popular pub in the village with a very committed and enthusiastic business owner – Brian Rigby had no doubt it would be useful to further engage with his customers and community.

As a case study this pub is a perfect example, EngageInn is being used to reach out and offer some great promotions on food bringing people back through the door that may have dined elsewhere –  giving Brian a good idea on return on investment.

We have developed a great partnership with Brian and The Stamford team, allowing us to gain valuable insight into the pub community and in turn helping them move forward with new technology.

Texting is a personal, direct and modern way of communicating. The EngageInn system is easy to use and understand for me, my staff and our customers. Everards Brewery

We have been very fortunate to work with the operations and marketing teams at Everards. An early adopter of EngageInn they have referred us to a number of their pubs, some you will see featured on this page, and have also taken on the system themselves.

From a brewery perspective they have used EngageInn to gather contacts visiting their pop up shop in Fosse Park Leicester, their Christmas market stall in the city centre and more recently at the 2018 Leicester Beer Festival.

By gathering new customer data on site the brewery have no doubt their new contacts are interested and already engaged in their activities. The system has been subsequently used by the marketing team to connect and drive further sales with promotion campaigns and new launches as part of an integrated campaign.

The system is easy to use for us, and our customers. It looks good and allows us to contact people directly via text which is great when putting out limited time offers and competitions. I love the ability to hold a quick two way conversation with customers via text that is convenient for them

Lincoln Green Brewery

Nottingham

Nottinghamshire based Brewery Lincoln Green manage 5 pubs as well as brewing a successful range of award winning real ales. Having met Managing Director Anthony Hughes at Pub18, it was clear he soon grasped the EngageInn concept and could see benefit of using it in his pub chain and brewery. Installation has already taken place in two of their pubs. ‘The Station Hotel’ in Hucknall which won Nottingham Camra Pub of the year 2018 and their brand new site ‘The Brikyard’ in Carlton.

From an EngageInn point of view we are really pleased to see this installation taking shape, the software is flexible enough to handle each pubs activities individually, adding that personal community feel, with the potential to cross sell news and updates throughout the chain. It’s a great example of how to make the most of EngageInn across different locations and activity.
